If you complete our HIPAA-Compliant “Join a Clinical Trial” form, we will collect your name, address, email address and phone number, as well as your interest in specific ongoing clinical research studies. We may also collect whether or not you would like to be contacted by Senior Adults Specialty Research about future studies. You are also given the option to contact our site directly by phone, rather than completing the online form.

If you subscribe to our newsletter or updates about new studies, we collect your name and email address in order to provide you with the newsletter. If you contact us for information, we collect your name and email address so we can respond to you.

When we collect your email address or phone number, if you so indicate, your information will be added to our email newsletter mailing list for new study alerts and we will send you our email newsletter. You may unsubscribe from any of our email newsletters by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email you receive from us or by contacting us by phone at 512-407-8628 or email at research@senioradults.net.

If you complete a HIPAA-compliant “Study Prescreening Form” on our website, we collect information you provide directly to us, such as:

  • Demographic information, including your name, date of birth, email address, and telephone number;
  • Health information, such as information about clinical trials in which you are interested in participating and information relevant to eligibility for those trials;
  • Geographic information, including your country of residence;
  • Health information, such as information related to a disease or medical condition;
  • Correspondence you send to us; and
  • Other information that you provide through the Services.

How We Use Your Information

We use and otherwise process each of the categories of information identified above for the following business purposes:

  • For clinical trial purposes. We will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to clinical trial participation and determining whether you meet criteria for our clinical trial services. Information submitted to us will be registered into our database, unless otherwise requested by you. Providing information to us does not obligate you to participate in any study.
