A memory screening is a simple and safe evaluation tool that checks memory and other thinking skills. It can indicate whether an additional check-up by a qualified healthcare professional is needed.
Memory screenings are not used to diagnose memory disorders but may be used to determine when follow-up care is advised. Results may also help inform what clinical trials may be a good match for those interested in participating in a research study.
